Suzanne was ordained to the diaconate on March 5, 2022, and she will be ordained to the priesthood in September 2022. A native of Maine, Suzanne has lived in Virginia for the past 20 years. She earned her Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia, in 2022. Her earlier degrees include a B.A. in history from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, awarded in 1997 and an M.A. in Early American Material Culture from the Winterthur Program, University of Delaware in 2001. Prior to coming to Christ Church, she served as Seminarian at St. Peter’s in the Woods in Fairfax Station, Virginia, and was previously a member of Abingdon Episcopal Church in White Marsh, Virginia. While at Abingdon, Suzanne served on the Vestry and as Senior Warden. In her previous career, Suzanne was Curator of Ceramics and Glass at Colonial Williamsburg. Suzanne and her husband Jorin love spending time outdoors, taking long walks, and listening to the birds. Suzanne enjoys cooking, reading novels, and travel.
