Before...
The Sacred Sound and Space Capital Campaign — the campaign to renew our worship space, improve acoustics in the Nave and replace our failing organ with a new one built specifically for our Nave — has completed all planned work with the exception of the new organ, which will arrive in 2023. Our original heart pine floor has been restored, lighting has been dramatically improved, the ceiling has been cleaned and restored and reinforced, our pews have been refurbished and refinished, walls have been painted, and for the first time, the attic has been insulated. None of this would have been possible without the generosity of Christ Church’s parishioners. To read about the process, click on the BLOG button below. Sacred Sound & Space Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the incredible beauty of Christ Church that we have been blessed to inherit, through the generosity of those who were inspired to carry the torch of faith and build on these holy grounds over three centuries ago. Open our hearts and minds to your guidance as we seek to recreate sacred space where people will come to hear your Word anew, and worship you as the new acoustics allow the flow of music to carry us into your presence. Enable this holy Sanctuary to become a place of worship where we can all be transformed. Open our hearts and minds to be generous so that we can leave a legacy for future generations to see and find you in the sacred beauty of this place. Guide us in this endeavor so that we can be inspired to go and make disciples, and invite them to "Come and See." We ask all this in the name of your Beloved Son, Jesus our Redeemer. Amen.
