Mary Pat and her husband, Ian, have been members of Christ Church since 2014. They moved to New Bern from Stroudsburg, PA, in 2010. In 2024, Mary Pat retired from Carolina East Home Health after a 29-year career in nursing. Mary Pat’s name kept popping into Rev. Paul's  head as one God might be preparing to take on the work of Pastoral Care Coordinator. When she was presented with this possibility, she immediately replied, “I have been praying about what I can do since I retired. This is great!” It’s amazing what God can and will do when we pause to listen!
